Dear gorgeous person, you!

I posted my first official haul video on my youtube channel today and in true Joy-style, of course it had to be something that involves food! #WhereAllMyFoodiesAt heeyyyy! :)

I'm so proud to have put this video together as it's very detailed and not only shows you everything on my Sainsbury's weekly shopping list but I also show you all the meals I made using these ingredients. A little bonus if you are the sort of person who worries about nutritional content and what to look for, I have you sorted as well. In the video, I go through the nutritional values of what I eat, what's good and bad and how these may mean different things to you and I.

Earlier this week, I also wrote two blogs with recipes on how to make the vegetarian chilli and the lovely naked burger and bacon salad with poached eggs. I would definitely recommend having a look if you're interested. Also, you can see me actually make the vege chilli in my 'A Day in the Life of...' video. Would you like to see me make more how-to or recipe videos? What would you like to see? Please let me know in the comments section below.

Just a quickie note that this weekly shop cost about £80 but please bear in mind I had lots of other stuff that weren't food so I'd estimate about £55-60 for food. Does that sound a bit much to you? I must confess though, as there is only 2 of us in our household, we tend to cook in bulk and we freeze a lot of the food so to be honest, this is really about 10-12 days worth of food. How much do you spend on your weekly shop? Do you budget or just buy instinctively? Or perhaps you buy as you go? I'd love to know in the comments below.

Lots of love,
J xo xo
