Dear gorgeous person, you!

I wonder if I'm the only one who hasn't made the most of holidaying in England. They say you always take for granted something you already have. Before being in a relationship with E, the thought of going on holiday in my 'backyard' never crossed my mind. However, I've been proved totally wrong and now starting to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.

Bournemouth was a complete surprise. We decided to go away for our three year anniversary and as usual, we were considering places abroad, mainly in Europe for a long weekend away. The more we looked into it however, the more we realised they were similar prices to going away here, some unnecessarily expensive. We started looking at places in the South of England like Rye and eventually settled on Bournemouth.

The forecast was pretty much rain and thunderstorms but gosh we were in for one of the most wonderful weather surprises ever. It really couldn't have been more beautiful, with high temperatures around 28-31 degrees. It literally was like being on holiday, sitting on the beach. We had the full shebang - beach towel, umbrella etc.

We stayed in a lovely hotel - Cliff House (you can see what the room looked like in the video below). Staff were fantastic and the food was amazing. Normally not a big fan of hotel food but honestly, just beautiful!!! They even have a Spotify Playlist at breakfast to die for! I had to ask what it was and now I play it at home almost every day!

The video below has just been published on my youtube channel this morning so feel free to watch it there also, as well as my other vids. In the vlog, as well as showing you all the loveliness of Bournemouth, I'm particularly vlogging what I ate. Be prepared for some unhealthy food oooohhh yeesss! I don't eat clean all the time - that'll be very boring! Hope you like it. I'd love to know if you've ever been to Bournemouth before - or perhaps other coastal areas of England. Do you prefer to holiday here or abroad?

Please don't forget to subscribe to my youtube channel if you enjoyed the video and you would like to see more of them. Also, feel free to suggest what videos you would like to see me do.

Lots of love,
xo xo
